Depot Grille, located downtown, situated in the old freight depot of Staunton Station. The depot sports a unique atmosphere with original hardwood floors and booths made from oak pews recovered from an old church; You don’t want to miss the view of downtown Staunton from their enclosed deck during each season of the year. Rowes Family Restaurant and Bakery, a favorite since 1947, features home-cooked sandwiches, desserts, steak and chicken entrees, and vegetables. They have many of your favorite dishes and frozen entrees available for take home. Don’t miss their coconut crème pie. It is great. You will love Mrs. Rowes food so much, you may want to purchase her cook book while you are there.
